For the last six years, Harrisburg Baptist Church has distributed free school supplies to students in the Harrisburg R-8 School District. In July 2024, more than 130 kids received school supplies.
Everyone who attends the Harrisburg R-8 School District is welcome to attend, and there are no income restrictions! In addition to school supplies, we provide snacks, a bounce house, activities, and resources to the community!
Organizations such as Harrisburg R-8 Parents as Teachers and the Boone County Fire Protection District attend the event to provide information for families in attendance!
